Rainy days & Mondays always get me down

Rainy days & Mondays always get me down!

What’s with Rainy days & Mondays that makes me feel down & lonely? Rainy days & Mondays of The Carpenters, seem to have a lot to express. But I won’t discuss about their album. I’m here to write something about what’s with rainy days & Mondays that makes me feel sad & down, in my own words & thoughts.

Rainy days are usually cold. When we say its cold, the heat & warmth is absent. It only goes to say that when it’s cold I need to feel the warmth of those people who loves me and cares for me. But what if there’s no one around me to make me feel the warmth that I want to feel? What if I have no one? This makes me feel miserable, knowing that I could have him at that moment whether it’s rainy day or not, but I just don’t. Only God knows why. This is why most people feel down and blue during this cold days of the year. We Misses the warmth of love & touch of those people we love.

Now, what about Mondays? Mondays isn’t rainy all the time. What’s with Mondays that get me down? It is the fact that I’m starting another week of coldness. Monday is the first day of the week and it gets to say that I’m starting my week with another feeling of emptiness, loneliness and a week without the one I treasure the most. (sigh).

I’m starting to hate the rainy season, not just because I got all wet going to my workplace, but also it gets me to feel the loneliness more as it blew its cold wind.

Letting go, but not giving up!

Most of us people have gone through some difficulties in life which involved break up & separation. And each intimate relationship we had which didn’t work out has a very purpose in it. If same things keep on happening, it only goes to say that we haven’t learned our lessons.

So, what are the lessons we should have learned by now?

Honestly, I don’t really know what lesson you should learn because only You, can identify it.

For me, it is to let go but not to give up.

Letting go in a way that you choose to give them enough time for
themselves and other things they have to attend to.

Letting go in a way that you choose to love them from afar to save your self from further hurts and to keep your very own worth.

Letting go in a way that your love & treatment for them won’t change, only the way you used to do things together.

Letting go in a way that you’re letting them to live the life they choose yet keeping your heart & life open when they want to come back.

This may sound crazy because of the martyrdom thing, but it is better to keep the love in your heart in spite of the pain you’re feeling, because in that way you’re also allowing that same person the freedom you will both need in order to move on.

Moving on in a way that both of you will forget, not each other but the pain & not so good experiences in the past. In this way, maybe you both can renewed the love you have for each other and make a new beginning together. But if things get way too messed up and there’s no chance that you could get back in each other’s loving arm, then it’s still okay. At least you did your best and showed that person how much you love them.

Just keep this in mind: God has a better plan for you & He reserved someone that is worthy of your love.

I certainly suggest that you don’t lose hope. Have Faith! Do not lose your faith, in God & in the power of Love. Do not let hate reign. Turn your hate into love. Because Love is a force that renews us and prepares us for tomorrow and Hatred is a shackle that keeps us tied to the past.

Drop the shackles! Walk in Love!

To the person I love most: I love you & it won't change. Only God knows when it's enough to wait for you.
